Update

Stephen has a job! Yay!! A prayer answered! The hours are flexible and his boss is a good man. The job came about much like everything has the past few months, in God's great timing and with us in awe. He will also be working at the BCM (Baptist Collegiate Ministry, used to be BSU) at a local college. It will be a great way to meet people and tell them about Jesus. We are excited about what God is doing. Stephen's parents came last weekend. It was their first time here since we moved in. It was good for them to see us settled and happy. And the kids always have fun when they visit. we never take pictures though. I need a personal photographer. Amen?! Thanks for your prayers. God is listening! Julie

A Gift in Song

I'm sure I've mentioned before that I love to lie in bed in the mornings. Most mornings Stephen wakes up before me and then tries to wake me up by talking to me, tickling me, or just irritating me until I open my eyes and look at him. It is our routine. This morning he woke me up by telling me he bought me something. My interest was peaked, so I opened my eyes to see what my gift was. A download of this Jamie Grace song . He thought he was downloading a song by another artist that I like but instead it was Jamie Grace. I don't know Jamie Grace but this song was the free itunes download yesterday. And it is really good. Its a love song to Jesus, what more could you ask for?! My favorite part is when, I think its Toby Mac, says the word Lub for love. I. Lub . It. Have a good day ya'll and download the so...

This week in 1986

I Love 80's music. I can't tell you the name of any songs, or who sings any songs. But I love 80's music! It doesn't make sense, but when do I ever make sense?!HA! The other night I was reading my Kindle (surprised?) and Stephen was flipping through the channels (surprised?). He stopped on the Sirrius station that plays 80's music. Ther were playing the top 40 countdown from that week in 1986. Oh, the memories. I listened and read, read and listened. And then I got to thinking about 1986. That week 24 years ago was not a happy one for me. I had been dating a boy that had made some wrong choices and I was so terribly sad and heartbroken that I couldn't imagine being happy again. CAN YOU IMAGINE?? I was 16, and thought that I wouldn't be happy again! I'm so glad I got over my melodramatic phase of life. HA! So, as I'm laying in bed thinking that this week in the year 2010 is SO much better than 1986 Stephen mentioned that we spent everyday together th...
