Hello. Is it me you're looking for?!

Hello. It's been awhile. I decided to check in. I'm here! I've been getting flack about not posting from the 3 people who read our blog! Lol.
Julie posts so well and has such great content.  I hope people read her posts. I love reading them. My mind stays so distracted lately it's hard for me to sit and write. I'm going to work on that. I thought I would update you on us. We have traveled like crazy lately and I love it. I will do a recap of our trips in the next week. Here is our most recent trip through a few pictures. Orange Beach, Alabama. Our fave beach spot.

Henry loves to go to the beach and stay at the Caribe. He favors the pools over the sand though. Honestly, we do too! We likes to watch the water and the boats though. We do too.

Discovering all new things this time. Henry is getting so big and inquisitive about everything! We stay at our resort/condo most of the time and just chill/veg. This was while walking from the beach to the pool one morning. I thought it was cute.

These two play hard in the pool. Randall has really taught him to be brave this year. It is so fun to watch.

Oh, for the love of those Spider-Man googles!!!

I ain't all about the selfies....but I send them to Mama, Julie and Melissa in a group text quite often because they understand it...bless them. They see sides of me no one wants to...trust me!! Ha. This is one I sent them. It was my sexy beach selfie. Lol! I may just end up in Sport Illustrated!

It rained one day so we ended up in an indoor pool. I hate an indoor pool at the Caribe because of the bleach smell and how it burns my nose. Just being honest. I tend to be more honest than ever lately. It's scary at times. Anyway,  I sat all chilled while they swam. It's a hard life, really.

This white slide made a boy out of my baby this trip. We sat in this spot every day and watched him go up and down, over and over. We were so proud of him. No help getting in and out of the water even.

Our balcony chats were fun. We were on the 10th floor and he would yell down to those playing games on the lawn. "did you score" over and over and when no one answered he would yell "my name is Henry and I'm talking to you!" Never a dull moment. He asked me "who made God" when I snapped this picture. Oh, the questions....and the love.

The one morning we played on the beach. It was beautiful and early enough it wasn't crowded.

We brought all our beach toys and attempted a sand castle but Henry smashed it early in the making. Patience is not his best virtue.

We took our first dolphin cruise one evening. Henry loved it. We enjoyed it also. Our resort has a boat that does them. It was so easy and carefree getting on. We just walked from the pool to the boat. Randall was rather sick that day so he walked from the condo to the boat and back. I felt so bad for him. Sinus stuff took over our family while at the beach this time. We saw dolphins and all kinds of cool beach houses and shrimp boats. It was a fun outing, despite the illness.

Traveling and making memories is one of my favorite things to do with these two blessings. I am so glad we had the chance to go on this impromptu trip to the coast. It's one of my all time fave places. They make pretty cute travel buddies too!!

All Aboard The Birthday Polar Express

Can you believe Henry Patton will be 4 years old tomorrow?! Neither can we. We celebrated his birthday last weekend with his first all boy party, polar express style. I had so much fun preparing for it, as you can probably tell! My mother who is never at a loss for words said it looked like Polar Express threw up in my house. She was SO right and we loved it! We had a breakfast pajama party with 7 three and four year old boys. It was such a fun time.   I had his pajamas monogrammed with a train and his name. He loved them and I liked how they sort of looked like the ones on the movie. Henry loved all the bells I had everywhere. There is no doubt we believe at this house. We had the jingle loud and proud!   I had his invitation made from a shop on Etsy and I was very pleased with them. One of his little friends came to the door ready for me to punch his ticket. It was so cute. I ran to get a hole punch and punched it for him. Every good party has to have go

Meet Shaun

This is my single co-worker and church friend, Shaun. He and I have so much fun bantering back and forth. He takes what I dish out and scoops it right back up and hands it back to me. He is a keeper for that and many other reasons, which I will share on this post. He was kind enough to allow me to highlight him on Kelly’s Korner http://www.kellyskornerblog.com/ for her singles link up. His last words to me about this were, “ This better not be an embarrassment! ” I trust I will do my best to make it not be, but I make no promises! The first thing you need to know about Shaun is that he loves Jesus and the Boston Red Sox . He asked Jesus into his heart at age 8 and is still seeking and serving him today at age 26. Shaun graduated from Arkansas State University with a degree in digital media and design. When he is not busy creating masterpieces for our customers he is hiking, watching the Red Sox , playing basketball, horsing around at the lake or beach, and watching movies. He is fu

He's home!

I know you didn't know my dear husband was out of town. I decided not to post such information. I get scared enough as it is, I sure didn't want to advertise the information. Yes, you read correctly, I get scared. Before we had children, and well, even after Samuel was born, I would stay with a friend of mine when Stephen was gone overnight. When we moved from that town I didn't have anyone to stay with, so I would just sit up and watch tv all night. Fear kept me awake. Isn't that silly? Well, it didn't seem so at the time, but when I look back on it now it seems silly. That is until I have to be without a manly-man in the house. I'm telling you what, I hear every noise, sound, creak, croak. It's awful. Sunday night (the first night) while I was lying AWAKE in my bed I was praying and telling God that I knew He didn't want me to be fearful and that I knew there were many verses in the Bible that told of His being with me at nighttime . I just couldn'
