It's Food Friday! I am not a huge fan of Chicken noodle soup but with weather like we have had and days couped up in the house, I found myself branching out with what I had on hand. It reminds me of being sick at home by myself as a teenager and opening the can of soup mama had left out on the counter for me before she left for work. It reminds me of having a sore throat or a stopped up nose. It always made me feel bloated. I am weird, but tell me you don't relate things together like this?
Anywho, I ran across this recipe and it was a winner! My guys liked it and it was easy to make. I hope you will try it and pass it along.
3 cups of cooked chicken (chopped)
8 slices of cooked bacon (crumbled)
1/2 yellow onion (diced)
1 ranch seasoning packet
30 oz chicken broth
put all this in a pot and start to bring to a slow boil.
Add
spaghetti noodles (eyeball them...you chose the amount)
stir them in and let soup heat until noodle are soft.
Add
1 cup milk (or more if you like)
1 cup cheese (or more if you like)
stir all together and serve with Ritz crackers.
Enjoy!
